Who else is driving in the Historic British GP tonight then?
I only bought the car at 11.00pm Thursday night, so I haven't had enough time to really get up to speed, but i'm really looking forward to this one
It's bloody hot still where I live, so it's going to be 60 laps of sweaty mayhem.
My qually was crap, so I'll be starting towards the back... I just hope to survive the inevitable first lap mayhem. Finishing the race will be enough of an acievement with this one I think.
Good luck to all who are taking part (especially the Brits )
Are you claiming that all Cannabis smokers are in some way abnormal?
The vast majority of Cannabis smokers I've known (and I've known a hell of a lot of them) have been perfectly responsible, hard working people with family's who prefer to have a smoke or two and the end of the day rather than a drink. Is that not "ordinary" enough for you?
You seem base your opinions on stereotypes and clichés rather than personal experience and facts.
I got a generic "we will not be following up this protest" email.
EDIT:- Just to add a bit of balance... It's VERY rare that I've even felt the need to protest someone. The standard of driving has generally been very good. In the top splits I've never have any trouble when starting near the front. Cant comment on what it's like at the back of the grid mind you. I often see a lot of DNF's in the race results, usually ending on lap 1, so first lap madness is obviously still alive and kicking.
Mazda drivers are the most aggressive in my experience. I'm avoiding that series.
Ohh, I've used it ... Last time was for a completely avoidable crash.
I included the replay, the chat afterwards and a copy of the PM the guy sent me that said he deliberately ran me off the road as he thought I was someone else that had cased him to crash earlier in the day.
(he apologised as it turned out i wasn't the person in question, but that PM was perfect evidence that it was a deliberate revenge wreck)
What did iRacing do? Nothing.
..yet they will put someone on probation for using the word "Idiot" ? There's the perfect example of why the system isn't worth the paper it written on.
I want to see idiotic driving punished, not the use of the words "idiot" or "moron" (You have to be extremely petty to report someone for calling you an idiot)
The Sporting code isn't worth the PDF it's written on.
Protesting people for obvious breaches in the sporting code is a complete waste of time.
iRacing are simply not interested in punishing anything but stuff like driving the wrong way and extreme abusive language.
It's the one thing I really dislike...they haven't got the balls to punish bad drivers and stupidity because they don't want to piss off paying customers.
